Course Updates and Fee Changes

January 2026

We have three developments to announce.

  1. Golf buggies – these are available for hire (or you can bring your own) during weekdays only. Not possible during weekends or public holidays. Booking must be by prior arrangement, not available on demand. See here

  2. Two alternative “fun” holes are now open . Holes 7(a) and 7(b). They are only Par 3’s but designed to be tricky. You can play these after play Hole 6 as an alternative to playing the Par 5, 7th hole. If you’re going to do that then once you finish 7(b) walk around the back of the main 7th green downhill to the 8th tee as normal. Our card will not change, if you’re scoring your round for handicap purposes you have to play the conventional 7th hole.

  3. Our mantra remains, ‘quality time on a quality course’. To achieve this we seek to limit the number of players on the course at any one time so you have space enough to feel you have the course to yourself (well, almost). Ours is very much a golfing retreat where ‘the golf and the wander’ is about your well-being. It is not a competitive, tournament or social club-type experience – Wellington is well catered with such courses. Ours is more about private time.

Fee Changes

From time to time we adjust our pricing to keep the numbers down so this atmosphere is protected. We are now doing that in a way that gives priority to those with proven enthusiasm. If you’ve paid and played here 25 or more times in the last 5 years, you’re an Enthusiast in our book.

The following price changes are designed to look after our Enthusiasts, to ensure you have the space on the course that you have always enjoyed. Here’s the new pricing for 9 holes;

Enthusiasts (paid & played here at least 25 times over the last 5 years);
Remains at $45 per round reduceable to as low as $25 using multipasses and taking advantage of congestion and group size discounts. Transferable multipasses now only available after 50 rounds. Non-transferable multipasses available for all Enthusiasts.

Regulars (paid and played here more than 10 times but fewer than 25 times in the last 5 years):
$60 per (nine hole) round

Visitors (paid and played here up to 10 times in the last 5 years):
$80 per (nine hole) round
